check status of walmart credit card application

I was declined according to a letter I received today. He gave me a number to call, that just turned out to be a pre recorded message that told me I would receive more information in 7 days. He just told me that it was ok and that that was how he was trained to get people approved and that I would be approved. I told him at the end of this that the info he entered was wrong. The only thing that he let me do myself was enter my SIN #. The cashier proceeded to answer these for me before I could do it myself! He seriously understated my income from what I could see and also misenterd my address (all as one word). On the POS terminal it asked questions about income,etc. When he started the application, he already had the credit card that I was about to use to make the purchase. Credit score 753 according to Transunion which they check and 723 according to Equifax. Low utilization, no collections, bankruptcy's, etc. I have other major credit cards (more than 7 years), never missed a payment, auto loan, never missed a payment. I also felt kind of sorry for him and have said no to this same cashier before, but this time said ok after about 5 minutes of back and forth. The cashier was very very pushy and convinced me that it would be good to apply (I do shop a lot there). I recently applied in store for a Walmart MasterCard.
